Plant Care Guide
Everything you need to know to keep your plants thriving — from watering to pruning
Check soil before watering
Match light to plant type
Repot every 1-2 years
Neem oil for most pests
Overwatering is the #1 killer of plants. Follow these simple rules to keep your plants perfectly hydrated.
Check before watering
Push your finger 1-2 inches into the soil. If it feels dry, water. If moist, wait another day.
Water deeply, not frequently
When you water, water until it flows from drainage holes. Then let the top layer dry before watering again.
Morning is best
Water early morning so leaves can dry before evening. Wet leaves overnight invite fungal disease.
Seasonal adjustment
Plants need more water in summer (every 2-3 days) and less in winter (once a week or less).
Use room temperature water
Cold water can shock tropical plants. Let tap water sit for an hour or use stored water.
